Booking & Cancellation Policy

Receipt of payment assumes acceptance of Terms, Conditions, and Dog Friendly Policy.

 

Bookings and Payments:

 

We require a payment of 1 nights deposit at the time of booking to secure the dates. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival.

 

Upon receipt of final payment you will receive the directions to Gibson's and entrance instructions (key safe code).

 

Check in time is 2:00pm, check out time is by 10:00am on day of departure – early check in, or late check out may be available on request and is dependent upon other bookings.

Cancellations:

If cancelling with more than 2 weeks notice: The funds received can be held against the guests account for up to 12 months from the original stay date, for use towards another booking. Alternatively we can offer a refund less $50 admin fee.

 

If cancelling with less than 2 weeks notice: 1 night is forfeited as a cancellation fee, the reminder can be eld against the guests account for up to 12 months from the original stay date, for use towards another booking, or refunded.

If cancelling with less than 1 weeks notice: Entire stay cost is forfeited. 

 

In the case of road closures due to floods, where the guest can not get to Agnes Water due to those closures, a 20% fee will be kept by Gibson's Pet Friendly Accommodation, and the balance refunded. In the case that guests cannot depart due to road closures, accommodation may be lowered to 50% off full rate after original departure date.

 

House standards:

 

The number of guests is not to exceed 6 unless previously arranged in writing. All tenants must be over 18 years of age unless accompanied by an adult. Parties and functions are prohibited. Noise levels must be kept at a normal residential level. Damages, breakages, theft or loss of house inventory are the tenant’s responsibility during their stay. The owners take no responsibility for the theft, loss, or damage or tenant’s personal property. Smoking is prohibited inside the house.

 

Damages and bonds

 

It is the responsibility of the guests to make sure everything in our homes are looked after. We understand that sometimes there are accidents, so please let us know if something has been damaged, and we can come to some arrangement. We take a credit card number as a security bond, and if damages have not been reported after check out, and if we cannot contact you to discuss the matter, we reserve the right to charge the amount it takes to rectify those damages to your credit card.
